If certified Disney Imagineers or a legendary animator from Nightmare Before Christmas working the internal organs of somebody’s mom as a kid isn't up your alley, maybe you'll dig the 1960s hand-crafted Barbie-scale puppets, or the emotional indifference of parents, but, ANIMATED.
Legendary animator Phil Tippett just gave us a special animation award in his name at a screening of Mad God, which should tell you a lot about the overall tone. If you like Rankin/Bass, or the Quay Bros, or Shivering Truths, you’ll probably like this.
